Over the past few years we have been slowly working towards the renovation of Strathyre Village Hall.

We managed to secure funding from Stirling Council and the Co-operative Community Fund towards the building of a new kitchen and storage area, and a very generous donation from local landowner Aaron Garbutt for a new roof, and funding from the former Balvaig Festival Committee towards the electrics.

The roof was completed by the end of January 2021, following delays due to weather and the pandemic lockdowns, and the kitchen and storage area, and repairs to the hallway floor we're completed at the end of April 2022.

We would like to issue a massive thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to get these renovations completed: Barry Trainor, Ian Brydie, Davey Allan, and Paul Kelly.

Our next phase of renovations includes new toilets, including a disabled toilet with shower and baby change, and improving the structure of the building where we can.
